Thanks Note -  Six months ago, I began Jombay’s Lead Like a Woman program with a focus on growth, reflection, and purposeful leadership. Today, I’m honoured to be named a 2025 Top 10% Club winner. This recognition is deeply personal, dedicated to my father, whose values of integrity and learning continue to guide me. The journey strengthened my empathy, self-awareness, and decision-making. I’m grateful to my mentor/boss Yuvaraj Srivastava Group CHRO MMT, my team, and the cohort for their support.

Godrej Enterprises Group launched the “Chhote Engineer” Multi-Skilling Lab at Swami Vivekanand High School, Khalapur, under its CSR initiative for skill development. Conceptualized by Mr Surendra Vaidya & implemented by Jnana Prabodhini Skill Center, the programme equips rural students with hands-on training in mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and civil skills. 1,500+ students annually across six schools, it uses a mobile training model and central Skill Hub Lab to enhance practical learning and employability.

TERI launched LaBL 2.0 in New Delhi to scale decentralised renewable energy (DRE) for green livelihoods, women entrepreneurship, and climate action. In partnership with MNRE, the initiative focuses on clean energy access, carbon accounting, and climate finance aligned with Net Zero 2070. Leaders like Vibha Dhawan emphasized inclusive growth. LaBL 2.0 aims to transform rural economies through scalable, sustainable energy solutions and strengthen India’s clean energy transition and sustainable development goals.

Bisleri International installed 10 recycled plastic benches at Dwarkadhish Temple under its Bottles for Change initiative, promoting plastic recycling and sustainability. Made from 40,000 bottle caps each, the benches highlight circular economy innovation and community awareness. Artwork by Mouth and Foot Painting Artists adds inclusivity and creativity. Officials praised the initiative for encouraging responsible waste management, while the company reaffirmed its commitment to environmental conservation and behavioural change in India.

Reliance Foundation and C-DAC Hyderabad have launched e-SafeHER, a cybersecurity awareness programme to empower 1 million rural women with digital safety skills. Anchored under MeitY’s ISEA initiative, it promotes digital inclusion, safe online practices, and financial security through SHGs and community learning. Isha Ambani said it aims to create “Cyber Sakhis,” boosting confidence and participation in the digital economy, while driving women empowerment and secure digital access in rural India.

Nature Science Initiative is driving bird conservation awareness in Uttarakhand by engaging students to protect the endangered Finn’s Weaver, with fewer than 1,000 globally. Through the Wipro earthian program, schools are studying wetlands, biodiversity, and threats like pollution and habitat loss. Student-led efforts, field visits, and collaboration with authorities highlight community-driven conservation, inspiring young eco-leaders to safeguard the fragile Terai ecosystem.

For 13 years, CSR TIMES has championed social impact and responsible business. The 13th CSR TIMES Summit & Awards, set for August 2026, will honour leaders driving inclusive growth, ESG practices, and sustainable development. The theme, “Role of Responsible Business for Inclusive Bharat,” aligns with Viksit Bharat 2047 and United Nations SDGs, focusing on education, gender equality, clean energy, and livelihoods, advancing a more equitable and sustainable future.

M3M Foundation athletes excelled at the Kettlebell Sport Haryana State Championship 2026 in Gurugram, winning 30 medals (18 gold). Under the Lakshya Program, 20 iMpower Club participants showcased grassroots sports excellence, including Haryana’s first para kettlebell athlete, promoting inclusive sports development. Payal Kanodia praised their resilience, highlighting support for youth from underserved communities. The initiative reflects a strong push toward youth empowerment and sports training in India.

Akasa Air appoints Aditi Roy as Head of CSR & Corporate Communications, strengthening its brand strategy and sustainability focus. Formerly with Novartis India, she brings expertise in corporate communications, PR, and stakeholder engagement. As the airline expands across domestic and international routes, her role will shape brand positioning, public trust, and CSR initiatives, supporting Akasa’s growth as a human-first, sustainability-driven aviation brand.

CSR in India is evolving from compliance to strategic business advantage, focusing on measurable social impact over spending. Prateek Kanwal Director Deloitte highlights that the future of CSR in India lies in data-driven impact measurement, strong ecosystem partnerships, and alignment with core business strategy. Organisations adopting this approach will drive sustainable development, build credibility, and create long-term value. He looks forward to advancing these discussions at the Social Impact Roundtable.

Leaders under Lanjigarh Anchalika Vikas Parishad urged reopening of Lanjigarh bauxite mines to drive economic growth in Odisha. Submitting a memorandum to MLAs Sagar Charan Das, Sudhir Ranjan Pattjoshi, and Pradeep Kumar Dishari, they emphasized Gram Sabha approval, job creation, and responsible mining. The move aims to boost investment, employment, and socio-economic development in Kalahandi and Rayagada, among Odisha’s most underdeveloped regions.

Malabar Gold & Diamonds announced ₹200 crore CSR initiatives for FY 2026-27 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi, in the presence of Piyush Goyal. The programme includes education scholarships for 33,000 girl students across India, supporting women empowerment and aligning with Narendra Modi’s Beti Bachao Beti Padhao vision. Implemented via Malabar Charitable Trust, the initiative has benefited over 1.15 lakh girls nationwide.

Adani Foundation’s Project Udaan at Dhamra Port drives youth skill development and experiential learning, engaging 5,000+ students. The initiative bridges education and careers through real-world exposure to port operations, logistics, and maritime technology, fostering entrepreneurial mindset and industry readiness. With 100+ institutional visits, students gain hands-on insights, interact with experts, and explore career pathways, strengthening India’s future workforce and promoting nation-building through CSR initiatives.

Vedanta Aluminium conducted a school health and deworming drive in Jharsuguda, Odisha, benefiting 350+ students and promoting child health, nutrition, and hygiene awareness. In collaboration with the District Health Department, the initiative focused on preventing parasitic infections and anaemia, improving children’s growth and learning. CEO C. Chandru emphasized community wellbeing, while Durjaya Dutta highlighted its impact. Part of Vedanta’s CSR, the programme has reached 4 lakh+ people, strengthening rural healthcare in Odisha.

Infosys Foundation partners with Prashanthi Balamandira Trust to strengthen rural Karnataka healthcare at Sri Sathya Sai Sarla Memorial Hospital under SMSIMSR. Backed by a ₹48 crore grant, the initiative enhances maternal and child healthcare, upgrading NICU, PICU, ICU, and medical infrastructure. It will benefit 8,000+ people annually with free treatment, helping reduce maternal and infant mortality in India, Mr Sunil Kumar Dhareshwar Trustee Infosys Foundation said collab will bridge healthcare gaps and serve underserved communities.
